Neil is a Patent Agent with more than three decades of broad-reaching international experience. He advises Burk Law clients on patent and industrial design matters through his patent firm, Teitelbaum & Burk.

Neil has worked both as an external advisor and in-house, where he served as Vice President of Global Intellectual Property at JDS Uniphase. His technical expertise spans electrical and civil engineering, electronics, and optics.

He provides patentability opinions, drafts and prosecutes patent applications in Canada, and manages the filing and prosecution of patent applications for clients in other jurisdictions.

Neil holds a degree in Electrical (Computer) Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
